Summer programs in Barcelona for 5 to 18 years old
Barcelona holds the best of both worlds: beachside fun and all the cultural attractions of one of Europe's most admired cities. A hub for fashion, design, music, cuisine and the arts, students can benefit from all Barcelona has to offer as well as the quiet and relaxation of Mediterranean shores.
This is also a great opportunity for youngsters to discover the peculiarities of Catalonia and Catalan culture, gaining a unique understanding of Spain's regional differences.
We offer two Spanish summer camps in Barcelona:
- Our Barcelona summer camp SIL is for students who are 5 to 13 years old. The facility is located at the foot of the Tibidabo Mountain outside the city center, right on the metro (FGC) stop Avinguda Tibidabo of Tibidabo Avenue. It's one of Barcelona's nicest residential districts with large green areas for your enjoyment.
- The Barcelona summer camp Agora is for campers 14 to 18 years old. In this section of town you will find residential neighborhoods connected to the city center (metro Mundet).
3 Summer Programs options in Barcelona
There are 3 summer programs options in Barcelona so you can choose the best one for your child:
- A) Summer Camp:
Intense Spanish course and in-house residence, either in a residence hall. It makes for an unforgettable experience in which the student continuously interacts with other youngsters and teens 24 hours a day. - B) Day Camp:
Student participates in all camp activities, including the language course. No lodging included. - C) Language Course Only:
Student shares Spanish language classes with other camp youngsters. Does not include camp activities or lodging.
Facilities: The summer schools Agora and Sil both house students and have their own classroom space. The residence rooms are amply lit and share common area with a TV, a game room and a cafeteria. The shared bathrooms are very large with separate stalls for sinks, toilets and showers. The summer school in Barcelona has its own kitchen with 2 large dining halls, as well as a sports facility and a pool for student use.
Capacity: The Sil summer camp houses 130 students. The Agora summer school houses 150 students.
Accommodation: The Barcelona summer camps offer residence stays in dorm rooms for 2 to 4 students per room. Laundry service is included.
Age Group
On the Sil campus:
Group 1: from 5 to 8 years old
Group 2: from 9 to 13 years old
On the Agora campus:
Group 3: from 14 to 15 years old
Group 4: from 15 to 18 years old
Permission: Available under the specified terms
